You know, for all of the Little Mermaid references I put on here, you’d think I would’ve put out a personal rankings list for the Disney princesses . . .

In all of their glory.

In all of their glory.

Actually, the idea came to mind when I was getting ready for bed, so here you go. Hope this makes your dreams come true (I’m not butt hurt if it doesn’t).

Criteria for ranks:

  • How much I like/dislike the movie.
  • Hair . . . duh.
  • Overall personality and character.

No slut shaming allowed–believe me, the Internet has already produced a list for that!

So, here goes, my ranking of the Disney princesses:

I Challenge You to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!

I know I’ve been away for a while, but this is a movement that I find very important and am passing-on on all social media platforms. This morning I completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. I froze my ass off for a half of a second until the humidity really set in, then proudly posted my video to my private Facebook account. I promised that for every “like” I get I would donate $1 (offer exists until 11:15 pm CST), and I want to put you all into consideration.

Like this post and for every like I will donate another $1 (again, offer exists until 11:15 pm CST)!

Help spread ALS Awareness and DONATE! Why? Because I challenge the entire WordPress community to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! You all have 24 hours to either dump some ice on your head or donate $100 at!

And, for my video. Well, here’s the only ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video you really need to see, if my words and bold font haven’t convinced you enough:

Lollapalooza ’14

I told you I’d eventually get to talking about my experience at Lollapalooza (more than a week later). It’s okay. If people on my Facebook newsfeed are still posting about it, then damn it so can I!

Now if only I could remember . . .

Duh, of course I can remember! Here are the best and worst (in no particular order) from Continue reading

I’m Back

I’m back and I have survived the muddy mosh pits of Lollapalooza 2014. What an adventure.

But, before I delve into everything music, I just wanted to let you all know that my fitness/weight loss/somewhat healthy Tumblr is up and running! If you need a fitness buddy, I’m you’re person, and I would really appreciate some love on Continue reading

Challenge Conquered!

My heart would break without you
Might not awake without you
Been hurting low from living high for so long
I’m sorry, and I love you Stay with me, “Bell Bottom Blue”
I’ll keep on searching for an answer ’cause I need you more than dope

That’s the song that played on my iPod once the plane took off leaving Continue reading

Parker and Rita

Day 30: Write a short entry that ends with the line, “The silver dust of moonlight settled coldly on the night.”

Last Day of Vaycay: Do I have to leave???!??!!

Rita and Parker sat on the sand waiting blue sky to fade pink with the tropical sunset. Both of their vacations were coming to an end; Parker would drive back Continue reading

Eustace Wagner

Day 29: You are at a cemetery reading gravestones.  Write about one of the people you find.

Second to Last Day of Vaycay: It’s storming.

Just for the record, I would never be caught dead (or alive) in a cemetery. No. I’m deathly afraid of them.

Eustace Wagner was born on December 23rd, 1909 in a small town outside of Continue reading

It really isn’t that big of a deal, despite all of the capitals in the title (sorry!).

One of my things or goals on my buckets list was to lose weight. For me, trying to eat healthy and working out is very lonely.

For example, a bunch of my close friends have memberships to the same gym as I do Continue reading

Graduates in Wonderland Review

I do most of my reading on vacation–actually, all of my reading vacation. Rarely do I have enough energy to read a full chapter when I’m in the real world. It’s kind of sad. But, regardless, I have finished my first book of the year (and voracious readers, like Ursula, can’t believe that statement to be true)! Can I Continue reading

Learning Process

Day 28: You read about yourself in your brother/sister, girlfriend/boyfriend’s diary.  What did you read?

Day 500 of Vaycay: I think I’ve gained 500 lbs. on this trip. ¡¡¡No me gusta!!!

Prince Eric’s Diary (so manly):

Things I’ve Learned About Grace:

-flowers=good; tickets to a Bulls game=not so much
-loves hugs longer than 20 seconds
-needs time to cool off after Continue reading
