Since I will be working all day tomorrow (*barf*), I just wanted to wish all of the mothers out on the Internet, and the ones that aren’t so connected, a very happy Mother’s Day tomorrow!
All of you are so very inspiring and wise. As children, we come to you with problems, praise, and love and you either fix them, cheer us on, or reciprocate back ever so effortlessly. Moms are absolutely flawless–perfect, and like Beyonce’s definition of flawless: moms, you’re pretty fucking badass!
A special thanks goes out to the woman whom I call Mom, or Mutti (if I really want to annoy her). You’ve put up with me for twenty-three years, with the good times and the bad . . . we’ll just say 2003-2009 were considered the Dark Ages in our home. I love you unconditionally, and I know you love me with all of your heart. I’m thankful for the life you’ve given me and the foundation you have set for me for me to grow into the woman you’d want me to be.
So, from the bottom of my heart, Happy Mother’s Day (tomorrow) Ursula!
Now the Ariel obsession makes sense . . .
